Hip Hop in High Wycombe
This energetic camp is an energizing, inclusive weekend adults’ street dance camp in High Wycombe. The daily schedule throughout the camp is a high-energy group warmup, then three hour-and-a-half workshops teaching different street dance styles, then an 60-minute freestyle session to demonstrate those solos. Participants are divided into levels based on ability and experience, so it is perfect for those who are brand new to street dance, all the way to experienced performers or instructors. The camp doesn’t include accommodation but there are a number of places to stay nearby, and it is 23-35 minutes by rail into central London.

Maritime Singing Break in Cornwall
St Ives is the ideal location for a sea shanty weekend. Participants will be taught traditional shanties from a folk singer and vocal coach, and try their hand at composing original ones. There will be vocal warmups, breathing exercises, stagecraft advice and a final evening concert. The retreat is based at a country house overlooking St Ives Bay. All meals are provided, including a Cornish cream tea on the first day, breakfast options, packed lunches and evening meals. Traditional rum, alas, is not provided. Author and tutor Greg Mosse runs the daily workshops on this authors' getaway. He explores topics including story structure, character development, locations and tension, to submitting work to agents.
