Plane Carrying US Defense Secretary Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The plane touched down based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This event is not the initial instance that a American defense plane carrying a top government figure has suffered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a American military jet transporting Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to Washington after suffering a technical issue.
