The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

This young athlete maintains impressive online presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous well-known supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates several courses worldwide and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior individual. He advised me to go out there, relax, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation helps introduce the sport to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.

The young star maintains substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive apparel and wellness brand.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
